How to cut a clip out of a video, fast — ffmpeg -ss before -i

You need 30 seconds out of a long video and do not want to re-encode anything.

ffmpeg -ss 00:01:30 -i input.mp4 -t 00:00:30 -c copy clip.mp4
# -ss before -i = fast seek; -t = duration of the clip
