How to follow pod logs live — kubectl logs -f --tail
You want the last hundred lines of log and then watch new lines as they happen.
Placeholders follow the cheatsheet: web is a deployment/pod name and app.yaml is your manifest. Most commands act on the current namespace — add -n <ns> to target another one.
kubectl logs -f --tail=100 web-6d9f7c5b4-x2abc # last 100 lines, then stream
kubectl logs -f -l app=web # follow by label, across replicas
