How to insert a row in SQL — INSERT INTO ... VALUES
You are adding one new employee row and want the columns spelled out explicitly.
Every example runs against the cheatsheet's sample tables — departments(id, name), employees(id, name, dept_id, salary, manager_id, hired_on) and orders(id, emp_id, amount, ordered_on) — and was executed and verified against SQLite, so you can paste it in and get the same result.
INSERT INTO employees (id, name, dept_id, salary, manager_id, hired_on)
VALUES (8, 'Henry', 2, 71000, 4, '2024-06-01');
-- Always name the columns; multi-row inserts chain more (...) groups after VALUES
