How to connect with SSH — custom ports and login names
The everyday connection: a user, a host, and — often — a port that is not 22.
Every flag and config keyword was checked against the OpenSSH 9.6 man pages, and the config examples were parsed for real with ssh -G.
ssh deploy@example.com # default port 22
ssh -p 2222 deploy@example.com # -p picks the port
ssh -l deploy example.com # -l = login name (the same as user@)
