Find files, then search inside them — fd + ripgrep
First locate the files with fd, then search their contents across the whole tree with ripgrep.
On Debian/Ubuntu, most of these tools are also one sudo apt install away.
brew install fd # install
fd -e py config # try: find all *.py files under config/
brew install ripgrep # install
rg "TODO" src/ # try: find every TODO in src/
