zoxide — a smarter cd that remembers where you go
You keep typing long paths to the same three projects; zoxide remembers the directories you visit most and jumps to them from a fragment.
On Debian/Ubuntu, most of these tools are also one sudo apt install away.
brew install zoxide # install
eval "$(zoxide init zsh)" >> ~/.zshrc # hook into your shell
z proj # try: jump to best match for "proj"
