Cheatsheet Pages / Vim Cheatsheet

How to scroll and jump around the screen in Vim — Ctrl-d/u/f/b and H M L

Moving a page at a time, or jumping to the top, middle or bottom of what is on screen.

Almost every entry was run headless in Vim 9.1 and the resulting file checked; the few entries a tiny build cannot run (system clipboard, persistent undo, the sudo save) were verified against Vim's own documentation instead.

Ctrl-d " half a page down Ctrl-u half a page up
Ctrl-f " a full page forward Ctrl-b a full page back
H " top line of the screen M middle L bottom
